Ramakrishna Vurakaranam is a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of Corporate Experience prior to founding IIRM Holdings Group and India Insure. His passion for Institution building ,Team work and Technology driven Customer service drives the group.
He pioneered the Licensing of Insurance broking in India and actively lobbied for getting the Regulation passed in parliament. Championing the cause of Insurance broking was crusade for him and he actively propagated the concept in media in conferences and in all public forums. He was an active participant of Insurance brokers Association of India and Director for 2 terms.
His vision to build an employee listed organization has come good with the group holding company being listed on the Mumbai Stock exchange. He is actively pursuing his dream of taking the India Insure's model accross the country.
Graeme La Brooy has a rich diversified experience in the field of insurance, International Sales & Business Management. He started his insurance innings with Janashakthi Insurance Plc and later had been with Asian Alliance as part of the Senior Management. He had been with Brandix for about a decade. A Fellow of CIM and CMI, he was instrumental in setting up and growing Foresight Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers in Sri Lanka. After having represented the Sri Lanka Cricket Team from 1986 to 1992, he has continued with his passion for cricket by involving himself with the administration of Sri Lanka Cricket. He has been on the International Match Referee Panel of the International Cricket Council since 2010.
Dhanasekaran joined New India Assurance (Afro – Asia’s largest insurance company) in 1981 as a Generalist Officer and had occupied various positions and held varied assignments during the 24 years with New India Assurance. He brings with him a rich exposure to all aspects of insurance, having been part of the insurance domain in India for good 37 years and the Sri Lankan insurance market for the past 4 years. He worked with Aon Global Insurance Broking Services (Pvt) Ltd. Later, he joined India Insurer, an Indian Insurance Broking Company, in February 2007. Apart from his responsibilities in India Insurer, he was a director in Foresight Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo Sri Lanka.

Deepali Ananth Rao is Business Management Graduate with extensive experience in Marketing and Brand building prior to joining India Insure in 2002. She laid the foundation of the Company's marketing initiatives in early years post the broking license in 2003. Her quest for challenges led her to set up the Pune and Mumbai branches and help in implementing the marketing strategy across the country.
She is the Director of India Insure and Heads the Speciality Lines and Reinsurance vertical of the Company. Deepali has established herself as a Subject matter expert in the specialized area of Liability insurance. Insurers in India and abroad count on her counsel in structuring their programs for Liability. She has conducted training programs across the globe.
Over the last decade she has grown the Reinsurance book in India Sri Lanka Maldives and Africa with active support from various international markets in London Paris Singapore and USA. She is networked extensively in the International re insurance markets.
Mr. Sanjeev Gardiner who has been a Director of Cargills (Ceylon) PLC since 1994 is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Gardiner Group of Companies which includes the Galle Face Hotel Co Limited, Galle Face Hotel 1994 (Pvt) Ltd, Ceylon Hotels Holdings (Pvt) Ltd (holding Co of Ceylon Hotels Corporation PLC), Kandy Hotels Company (1938) PLC (which owns the Queen’s and Suisse Hotels in Kandy) and, United Hotels Co (Pvt) Limited which owns the The Surf (Bentota), The Safari (Tissa) and The Lake – (Polonnaruwa). He is also the Chairman of Ambeon Capital PLC, and Ambeon Holdings PLC and is a Director on the Boards of Millennium I.T. E.S.P. (Pvt) Ltd, and Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, among its other companies. Mr. Gardiner counts over 25 years of management experience in a diverse array of business. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia and, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University, Australia. He has been a Council Member of HelpAge Sri Lanka for several years.
Thanuja has over 30 years of work experience in fields ranging from Banking to Insurance, Sales and Marketing, Hospitality and Leasure Property Management, Travels and Tours, and Real Estate advisory and project management. She started her career as a Banker with HSBC and subsequently joined NDB Bank plc. Sri Lanka Insurance and Union Assurance and Sri Lankan Airlines. Thanuja is a founder Director of Foresight Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers pvt ltd which subsequently acquired Finlay Insurance Brokers and currently IIRM Lanka Pvt Ltd. She’s also the founder Director of Island Holidays and Tours Pvt Ltd, Chairperson/Director Covenant 360 Holdings Pvt Ltd, a Real Estate and Investment Advisory company . She was also appointed by the Ministry of Plantation Industries as a Board Director of JEDB (Janatha Estate Development Board 2018/19), Was appointed by the Road Development Authority as a Board Director of Maga Neguma Emulsion Production Company.
Suresh is a Reinsurance Expert and a Liability Insurance Specialist with over 30 years of experience in Insurance, Risk Management, and reinsurance. He is working as a Consultant for TransAsia Advisors & Transasia Softech. His areas of practise includes Operational Risk Management, Risk Finance, Cyber Security Risk Modelling, Cyber Security Insure Tech and Reinsurance capacity development. He has worked with clients from varying industry segments – from BFSI to transport to technology.
He is a visiting faculty at the National Insurance Academy, Pune and College of Insurance, Mumbai. He is consulted by major insurers and reinsurers on the Cyber Security insurance spectrum from risk assessment to claims management.
