With an employee strength of over 200 professionals, the senior management alone comes with over two centuries of experience, cumulatively, ranging from underwriting to claims management. We have with us one of the most experienced and diverse technical teams in the broking industry. The senior management team comprises Insurance professionals, Chartered Accountants, Engineers and HR professionals.
Joining IIRM with over 20 years in the insurance industry, Shiran brings both knowledge and experience in technical know-how/underwriting. Moving up the corporate ladder working for renowned insurance companies both local and overseas such as Ceylico, AIA General Insurance and LOLC General Insurance company, he has majored in Reinsurance, Property, Engineering, Casualty & Financial lines of business.
He has completed the Associateship affiliated to Insurance Institute of India and currently reading for the Advanced Diploma in Insurance affiliated to Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) UK.
He pioneered the Licensing of Insurance broking in India and actively lobbied for getting the Regulation passed in parliament. Championing the cause of Insurance broking was crusade for him and he actively propagated the concept in media in conferences and in all public forums. He was an active participant of Insurance brokers Association of India and Director for 2 terms.
Having over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry in underwriting and in technical related matters, Isuru is licentiate professional who has steadily climbed the corporate ladder holding top management positions in the insurance companies in Sri Lanka. Holding multiple qualifications in insurance, he holds total responsibility on all Technical related matters, in conjunction with Reinsurers and Reinsurance Brokers.
With over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry and his forte being claims management, Asanka held multiple functions in top insurance broker companies in Sri Lanka and in multinationals companies managed by Global Reinsurance Brokers. Asanka holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and a Diploma in Entrepreneurial Business Management from University of Sri Jayawardenepura. He has also completed the Insurance Diploma conducted by the Sri Lanka Insurance Institute and is currently reading for his MBA.
